James Bong, Cannabis Crusader is the Comic Book component of the James Bong universe and it follows the current adventures of the superhero. We started out with 2 pages published in the bi-monthly Weed World Magazine that reaches 150.000 readers. In May 2015 we took our first collected edition and launched the comic book at the Eastern European Comic Con to a roaring success. Fans called us "most original comic at the Con", "highly creative" and "probably the best comic I have ever read". We will still pe publishing two pages every issue of Weed World and we are expanding too. Cronic Mag picked us up and so did Revista Comics. And who knows, soon we might get to a store near you!

The Allmighty Creator. Born and bred in New York City, James Longshore is a lifelong actor-writer-director. He created James Bong on a New York City rooftop in 1996, sometime around 4:20... In 2005 he made the first James Bong film and comic.
His other work includes the award-winning sketch comedy network "WFCT: The Thinking Man's Show For The Idiot" and as an actor he can be seen in international films like Berlinale Audience Award winner, "Diaz: Don't Clean Up This Blood".
Originally from Romania, Bianca Mina is an international writer-director-producer dedicated to bringing independent content to the international market with her company, Vigilante Films (distributor of the James Bong web series). Bianca co-writes the James Bong comic book and is developing the feature film with James Longshore. Bianca has been a creative producer at Media Pro Pictures where amongst other projects, she adapted the Bafta award winning sitcom "Mrs' Brown's Boys" to Romanian television.
Marek Dubienski is a UK based Polish artist and the man with the steady hand behind the pencils of the James Bong comic book. Marek has studied comic book art at Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Comic Art and James Bong is his first published work.
MEET THE TEAM
Born in Barcelona, Spain, but now based in Chile, Cristian Docolomanski has a long history in the comic book scene as a professional inker. He inks for Futuro Esplendor Publishings and AcciónComics in Chile and has done jobs for Bluewater Productions, Double Barrel Theater, Emerald Star, Beyond Reality Media, Ecv Press and Bad Cog overseas.
And now, he is bringing his talents to James Bong and his inking is the clear proof that inking is an art, and not tracing.
Luca Malkamok Romano is a famous rock star. Just kidding. He is an experienced colorist from Cuneo, Italy, on his way to becoming a comic book star. He has colored two web comic publications and a graphic novel, which is scheduled to come out later this year. He is also the editor-in-chief of "Eclisse", an art publishing fanzine.
MISSION
CONCEPT
James believes, righfully so, that marijuana is not a drug, but a plant. A plant, people. And we agree with him. We believe perception and education about cannabis need to change along with legalization. The purpose of JB is to change hearts and minds by telling stories of the legalization movement in a fun mainstream medium with characters people can relate to.
We hope to contribute to changing the way cannabis consumers have been negatively portrayed in entertainment for years, making every mother think that if her kid smokes marijuana they will turn out like Cheech or Chong.
All revenue from this project will be put back into more original content and promotion, building the universe. Your contribution of $5 for renting the webseries helps the cause, moving legalization forward, while giving you a fun story you can puff, puff and pass on to your friends.
James Bong is a cannabis crusader. A hero for the legalization movement, born to protect stoners from injustice and harm. James Bong is dedicated to spreading the message that cannabis consumers should not be persecuted and that the powers of marijuana can be used for good, not evil. The mythology and history of the universe, which will be revealed over time, is inspired by and set in the history of marijuana culture since prohibition in 1937.
